Undo deleted reminder
Not noticing that my cursor was inside the reminders box, and wanting
to delete an e-mail in my inbox, I hit delete and accidentally deleted a reminder and, unfortunately, have no idea which one, which scares me a bit (e.g., "give mom her pill or she will go into a coma" - OK, I exagerate). Is there any way to undo a last action inside the reminder popup in Outlook 2007? Thanks! Dean |

No.

Though I think you'ce given me an answer...
I see forum posts about "recover deleted items" option under Tools (in Oulook 2003, I think) but I do not see that in my system of Outlook 2007. My deketed items folder seems to have about 3 reminders, but far few than what I'd expect, so there must be some special condition that caused me to find those. Any idea what that condition is? Perhaps they were deleted not dismissed? But none of them seems to be the one I might have accidentally deleted. Thanks again! Dean |

Recover deleted items is an Exchange mailbox option so only people with
exchange accts will see that option. Are you seeing reminders in the deleted items folder or appointments you've deleted? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. I'm seeing both but I've deleted (or dismissed) many reminders and I
only see 3. Possibly many of them are recurring reminders so, perhaps, when you dismiss those, there is nothing to delete. In any event, I guess I'm screwed if I can't find it in there. Thanks! Dean |

In this instance, I definitely deleted it so I guess it should be
there in my "deleted items" folder, right? Unfortunately, I don't see it but, perhaps, if one of the three items I do find in that folder was the one I deleted and it was a near copy of something I had already deleted, I wouldn't recognize it as newly deleted. Guess it's time to stop being paranoid! Thanks Dean |

Keep in mind, too, that since the Deleted Items folder is usually not sorted by modification date, if the reminder was older it could be quite far away in the list from the most recent items and easy to miss if you have a number of items in the folder. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
