Default Find not working...

Running Outlook 2003 & find isn't working.
I can have an email with the word 'kettle' in the message, but if I tell it
to look for kettle in the inbox, & tell it to search all text & each
message, I'm getting nothing.
Any ideas why?

Does it work if you disable Cached Exchange mode? How about if you delete
the cache and allow Outlook to recreate it?

I'm not at computer right now, but where would I delete cache?
If I remember correctly, Exchange Cached Mode is in the mail account
settings, right?
