Unread messages indicator
My outlook (2007) is showing the inbox highlighted as if I hadn't read the
new emails eg (4) - but I have read all the messages .... it has only recently started doing this, it never used to happen. There is a "MArk as read" option in the 'EDIT' menu .... but anyone any idea why I suddenly have to use it to clear the new emails indication?

Unread messages indicator
Right-Click the INBOX and select PROPERTIES.
On the GENERAL tab, about half way down, there are two radio buttons: - Show number of unread items - Show total number of items Select the "Show number of unread items.
