Adding contact picture to custom contact form
After driving myself nuts wondering why my contact form's general page
looks totally different when I edit it (in a new form based on the contact form), I finally found documentation from Microsoft that explains why... but offers no solution. Now that I have a goofy general page, I need to add another page to my contact form so I can add the contact's picture (because apparently I can't modify the general page without adding form regions... ?). Since the contact picture is not a field, I want to somehow add a box that works exactly like the original contact picture box (on the new page). I need users to be able to click the box and allow them to browse their computers for the picture file and add it to the contact card. Then, anyone else opening the contact from the public folders can see that picture. Also: 1. Am I totally screwed in that now that picture will never be part of the business card that shows up in that view? 2. Is there ANY way to get that original contact general page back (I promise I won't try to modify that page again).?? |
