See the big white space? Use that to ask yoiur question and don't spare any
detail describing exactly what you want.

If giganews is an NNTP server, then you don't. Without an add-in you must
purchase, Outlook has no NNTP capability. It uses whatever newsreader you
have installed as your default newsreader, like Outlook Express, Windows Mail,
or Windows Live Mail.

There's a caveat to that - certainly in Vista (I have Home Premium - I don't
know about the others) Windows Mail is hard-coded as the NNTP reader. You
can set any other application you like as default news reader but if you
click a news link in a web page or email, or use the Go-News function in
Outlook, it will open Windows Mail.
