Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2003 with all the patches. Some of my clients receive my
attachments no problem. Some get a winmail.dat file instead. Is there any
way to keep all the formatting and pictures but send files to everyone so
that they receive them properly?

This can be avoided by changing your mail format from Rich Text to Plain
Text or HTML. Go to Tools, Options, Mail Format.

Some mail clients can't understand Rich Text emails.

Thanks - I believe I have everything set for HTML currently but they have
that issue when opening in hotmail.

If you have these recipients in your Contacts folders, make sure the
Internet Mail option for those recipients has "Let Outlook decide" ad the
sending format. Open the recipient Contact recotrd and double-click the
email address.

I think that might be it - it was set for Rich Text! Is there a way to
select all my contacts and change this setting to be the default?
