Hello,
I'm using Outlook 2003 with all the patches. Some of my clients receive my attachments no problem. Some get a winmail.dat file instead. Is there any way to keep all the formatting and pictures but send files to everyone so that they receive them properly? |

This can be avoided by changing your mail format from Rich Text to Plain
Text or HTML. Go to Tools, Options, Mail Format. Some mail clients can't understand Rich Text emails. -- Patricia Cardoza This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Thanks - I believe I have everything set for HTML currently but they have
that issue when opening in hotmail. "Patricia Cardoza [MSFT]" wrote in message ... This can be avoided by changing your mail format from Rich Text to Plain Text or HTML. If you have these recipients in your Contacts folders, make sure the Internet Mail option for those recipients has "Let Outlook decide" ad the sending format. Open the recipient Contact recotrd and double-click the email address. -- Brian Tillman |

I think that might be it - it was set for Rich Text! Is there a way to
select all my contacts and change this setting to be the default? "Brian Tillman" wrote in message ...
