Don't want to waste time every time I need to find an old sent or received
email which is stored in the deleted items section. Is there a way to type the person's name somewhere to retreive just their emails or my name to retrieve just my emails? |

Which version of Outlook are you using? In Outlook 2007 I would simply go to
the DELETED folder then type something in the search box. For example typing (without quotes) "xxxxx" will automatically display all deleted messages with xxxxx in them somewhere. Typing "From:Norm" will display messages from Norm. Typing "To:Norm" will display messages to Norm. Typing "xxxxx From:Norm" will display all messages from Norm with xxxxx in the message. Hope that helps. "Sil" wrote: Don't want to waste time every time I need to find an old sent or received email which is stored in the deleted items section. I don't understand why you are storing emails that you obviously want to
keep in the trash. It's not a storage/filing system, it's too easy to accidentally lose/delete your email that way. That being said, why don't you sort by name or subject or date?
