I get the error cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the
Outlook window. Invalid XML, the view cannot be loaded. I had a problem opening Outlook the other day. I created a new profile and it worked until I rebooted my computer. Any suggestions? Thanks. I tried looking at the error log but the only ones I see is if I accept/reject safe mode. |

By the error log do you mean the application event viewer?
What version of Outlook are you using and what type of mail account do you have? Have you tried opening Outlook in safe mode? Start Run outlook.exe /safe "safetymom" wrote in message ... The error mentions an XML file is corrupt - the only XML file outlook reads
at start up is the Navigation pane, which that switch replaces with a new one. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "safetymom" wrote in message ...
