Backup then restore emails

Hi

I have a XP Pro SP3 PC with Outlook 2002.

I need to format the c: drive, (the drive is corrupt
a repair install is not possible) and need to back up my
address book and emails, how do I do this and how do
I restore them when I reinstall Outlook.

thanks

Daniel
