Ask your IT manager at the workplace. There can be many ways that it is
accessed and there are many variables. Regards Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook www.judygleeson.com www.deskdoctors.com Are you sick of bad email practice? they could have setup the email there aren't known here. Maybe they've setup Outlook Web Access. What makes you think your company permits off-domain access to their mail server? What did they say when you ask them? They may require use of VPN to connect to their corporate network. They may require you use OWA (Outlook Web Access) via web browser instead of using a local e-mail client. They may also not allow you to store *company* information on your personal property. Talk to THEM about how to remotely access your work e-mails. |

However, the OP better check with their IT and Security groups before doing this. Such inbound connections may be prohibited by policy and installing unapproved software can be grounds for dismissal. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
