It looks like maybe an update to xp did it. I booted a virtual machine with
2007 and XP and the numbers are not formatting but if I type them in using brackets etc, the format is not removed unless I press the button to check the number. Try changing the location to something else, applying then changing it back to the US or retype the area code. No, outlook doesn't support a global replace. Mapilab has an addin that can
