I have an excel file with contact details and email addresses in a list,
ie column a = name, b= e mail address, is it possible to import this into outlook so they are usable directly to address mail....ie contacts/address book etc.....thanks

importing e mail addresses from excel

#1 - From File Menu - Import/Export proceed accordingly (click on Map
Custom Fields to ensure that the fields are correctly assigned.

#2 - For Email Address - select Email Address (sub element of Email) to map
to

#3 - If you don't have or are not familiar with Excel "Named Ranges" - save
your worksheet as a CSV file and import that instead

Follow the above and you should have absolutely no problems getting your
data into Outlook.
