My boss runs Windows 7 ultimate with Outlook 2007 Enterprise Edition.
Sometime when she deletes emails from her Inbox with the delete key, sometimes the email doesn't appear to delete, yet a new one appears above or below it. As soon as she re-sorts, it's fine, that email deletes. It almost looks like a video driver issue, but the laptop has all the latest drivers. The problem is much worse with the Preview Paine enabled. She has only about 1300 emails in her Inbox. I rebuilt her profile with a new PST, repaired Office, Windows update, etc... Anyone seen this before...? Any ideas how to fix...? Thanks, Tom... |

Does it still show when she minimizes Outlook to the Taskbar and then
maximizes it again? In that case, it really is a refreshing issue that needs to be looked into. Can you reproduce this behavior in Outlook Safe Mode? Start- type; outlook.exe /safe Which mail account type are you using? -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "TK" wrote in message ... I have an update...
1st of all, OL is in cached mode. Outlook /safe does NOT fix it. If I minimize/maximize Outlook, or press F5, it doesn't update the Inbox. NOTE, she just read a message, it stayed bolded and envelope closed for over a minute. Then I press Drafts-then Inbox, and it updates immediately... This is telling me the Inbox isn't being updated unless forced... Any Ideas...??? Tom... "TK" wrote in message ... In that case it is probably caused by the firewall blocking UDP traffic
between Outlook and the Exchange server. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "TK" wrote in message ...
