How do I turn off email headers in Outlook 2003

I am trying to turn off email headers on a system that is running Outlook
2003. A 3 line email is turning into a 2 page email with all the headers..(ie
received by to the Received from etc etc etc). Any help is greatly
appreciated..

Are you referring to the quoted To/From/Date/Subject fields or to entire
message header including all the IP addresses, server names, etc...?
In case of the last; Outlook doesn't do this. Is this happening when
replying to the message or when receiving it?

Assuming the last, do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates
itself with Outlook? Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner
and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your on-access
scanner part of the virus scanner. For more details see;

Outlook shouldn't be showing you the Internet headers. If it is, that means
something is interfering with the proper reception of the message. The most
frequent culprit is scanning incoming mail with an antivirus program.
Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.
You will be just as safe. Retest, because even if this is the solution, it
won't help messages you've received already, only new ones.
