I have Outlook set up for signing and encryption but when I get an
encrypted email I simply have to go to the mailbox and there it is. I
do not like that. I do not want anyone at the computer to be able to
read it. I want to be required to enter the Pass Phrase for my
encryption key every single time I go to read something .

Second, I do not want the data after I read it to remain ANYWHER on my
system in plain text fo9rm. Is this possible? It is with True Crypt
but that of course is not integrated with OUTLOOK.

This simply isn't true if you each have your own Windows logins. Moreover,
the data in the mailbox is encrypted and only decrypted when accessed by
Outlook. Only if you give people your credentials would it be available to
them.

TrueCrypt encrypts the entire hard drive to prevent compromise if the PC is
stolen and it also allows encryption of specific files. Depending on your
data store, this could include Outlook's files as well, since TrueCrypt
encrypts and decrypts on the fly.

Am I dreaming here?

They only need my email and windows login. Those are MUCH weaker than
key phrase. Moreover, if I am on then anyone can read it knowing

Make your credentials more complex and lock the screen when you leave the PC.
