Outlook 7 set up wrong May 6th 10 05:25 AM

Outlook 7

I mistakenly setup my email account as window exchange server instead of
individual email. Now Outlook will not let me past the connect window to
change. I have uninstalled and re-installed and it remained a window
exchange server. How can I change my setting to an individual email account?
Thanks

You need to delete this account and start all over again. To delete
this account do this:

On the Menu bar, TOOLS, Account Settings,

Now click your account that is wrong and then click on REMOVE button.

Now you are ready to setup the account correctly.

Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and click E-mail Accounts. Remove the
Exchange account and add the type you want.

Sorry, but this can't possibly work. If an Exchange account was set up
initially, Outlook won't open at all, since it can't reach the non-existent
Exchange server. The fix must be made via the Mail applet in Control Panel.
