How do I find and delete an Outlook personal mail folder?
I upgraded to Outlook 2003 on a computer that I bought from my employer. I
want to use Outlook 2003 to access internet email and sync with my Smartphone. I'm not on a network or Exchange Server at home. When I run Outlook after the install, it says that it's migrating my settings. It then says an Exchange Server is unavailable, and I click "work offline". Outlook then asks for a password to my personal mail folder. Since I can't remember the password, I click Cancel, and Outlook quits. I don't need access to my old Personal Mail folder. I just want to set up Outlook from scratch and use it for email and contacts. |

Tools--Email accounts--View or change existing e-mail accounts
Remove the existing accounts from the list You may want to find the .pst file also, if one exists, and remove (or keep) that. "Terry" wrote in message ... Thanks, William; however, I can't even get in to Outlook: it quits when I
click Cancel.
