can't send any email
 

I have used Outlook at work for years, but now that I have to set up my own
here at home, I'm at a loss. I had been using AOL and then SBC DSL.
To begin with, I am technically challenged - I have very little idea of how
to fix glitches of this type - I think the problem is one of configuration.
At first attempt, I got two error msgs when I tried to send email. Now,
somehow I unwittingly was able to clear one of the error msgs and am left
trying to figure out the following msg:
'Task 'Outlook Connector - Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could not
complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.'
Can anyone explain what the msg means and how do I correct the problem.
