Reinstalled Outlook - now have 2 personal folders & can't empty ju
I had to reinstall Outlook because of a mysterious glitch. I lost my most
recent .pst file but have a backup one that I was able to import. In figuring that out, I now have 2 personal folders in Outlook. One I'd like to keep and I'd like to delete the other (ancient stuff). How do I delete the one? How do I know which .pst file to keep, when I am looking in the Outlook folder under Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook? They have different names (I named one backup) but I can't tell which is which by size and date so I don't want to accidently delete the wrong one. Also, in the personal folders I want to keep, I am unable to empty the junk mail (i.e., there is no choice, "empty junk mail," when I right click on the junk mail folder. How do I remedy this? Thank you so much. |
