I have followed the instructions in the link you've posted. It doesn't work
for me. When re-installing Outlook I was forced to create a new account which Outlook gave the name of my mailserver (mail.wright.edu). Even though I've selected my old .pst file for delivery of new emails, I find that new emails still go to the Inbox under the new account. When I try deleting emails from that Inbox, a line is drawn through the sender's name on the email but it isn't moved to the "Deleted Items" folder either. I'm not a newbie at this, but I'm stumped. What could I be doing wrong? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Whatever you do, don't import. I need to reinstall the pst files in a new reinstall of Outlook 2003. I have saved the old files before. |
