Default Outlook 2003 co

This may be a simple q? I am running outlook 2003 and want to sync with my
laptop. How do I do this ? I am not running microsoft exchange server.

Its a good site thanks,but I could not find an answer , I don't have the
briefcase option on my PC this appeared to be the better option, Is their any
cabelling that can do this I wonder ?

Can you put both on the same network periodically?

I have not set up a network yet.
