how do I use Outlook on 2 computers and keep everything synch'ed u

I have Outlook on 2 computers. I use Yahoo! Plus and deliver the emails to
Outlook using the POP3 set up.

Apart from purchasing and installing Exchange Server, is there any way to be
able to access my mailbox from either computer and keep both in sync ?

Thanks in advance

You need Exchange or Hotmail Premium and Outlook Live to have an OST.

So copying the .PST files around is the *only* other way ?

Not necessarily. If they're networked, there are other options. See also:
