The existing Microsoft Outlook connector for IBM Domino seems only to support
Outlook 2002/2003. When it is installed on Outlook 2007 Beta 2 it doesn't install due to a version mismatch. Is there a workaround for this connector to be used on Outlook 2007 Beta 2? |

I've also been looking but it doesn't look like there is an updated connector
yet. "Trevor Donald" wrote: The existing Microsoft Outlook connector for IBM Domino seems only to support Outlook 2002/2003. When it is installed on Outlook 2007 Beta 2 it doesn't install due to a version mismatch. Is there a workaround for this connector to be used on Outlook 2007 Beta 2? |

No, there is no workaround or updated connector.

Any chance of a native MAPI plugin for Domino and Outlook 2007?
Sadly I am now stuck with using the Lotus Notes interface which causes me chest pains. ![]() Oh pretty Outlook, I yearn for your efficiency once more. ![]() I wonder what the population is that uses Outlook for connecting to Notes mail. -- Jef Kazimer =========== http://www.Jeftek.com "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: No, there is no workaround or updated connector. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Trevor Donald" wrote in message ... Other option is that Domino has a IMAP connector that can be enabled.
Outlook 2007 could probably connect through that I'd guess. Sorry, I meant options without the obvious de-install

I am also looking for the connector, I hope Microsoft decides to build one
for 2007, as it does make some peoples life's easier. Granted we are still in the test phase, but it is an option that we would like to test. As for the suggestion that we move back to Office 2003, that would be a possibilty if that connector still worked. "Jef Kazimer" wrote: Any chance of a native MAPI plugin for Domino and Outlook 2007? The latest I heard is the future of the connector is in doubt and may not be
updated or have continued support. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Bryan" wrote in message ...
