Mail Store question
I have Outlook 2003 and a hotmail account (had it for years). I am trying to
add it to Outlook and I am getting the following error. The HTTP mail store could not be created. The operation failed. An object could not be found. Can this be fixed? If so how? |
Mail Store question
Did you ever get an anwer for your question? I'm having the same problem. The
problem we're having is that Hotmail now charges for the service, about $50 a month. The question now is what e-mail provider could we use that won't charge us? Hotmail Plus will also work with Outlook and it's $20 per YEAR. It's Outlook Live that costs $44.95, but that's YEARLY, not monthly. Hotmail Premium is $9.95 per month, with the first two months free if you subscribe before the end of May. That's $99.50 for the first year and $119.40 for subsequent years. Mail Store question
Sorry the first time I miss read your reply because that is what I was
expecting someone to say (I have tooth ache : ( ). Anyway I have had my Hotmail account for so long now (many many years) that MS lets my use it in Outlook for free! At least for now. But I did fix my problem if you want to know. He is what I did 1. Uninstalled Office 2003 2. rebooted pc 3. removed old .pst 4. Started Outlook and pointed to one of my many backup .pst 5. Copied that .pst to default location which is C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook 6. Opened Outlook and pointed it to the backup pst I just copied and removed old data file. I can check my "free hotmail" account in Outlook now : ) "Brian Tillman" wrote: sam wrote: Did you ever get an anwer for your question? I'm having the same problem.
