I have two POP accounts I am using, however, my ISP blocks SMTP except their
own. I had my second account configured using the proper settings, and everything worked fine. However, since the upgrade I get the following error when attempting to test the mail settings: Send test e-mail message: None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server. The primary email works fine. The secondary will recieve, but not send. Primary pop.west.cox.net, smtp.west.cox.net; secondary pop.juno.com, smtp.west.cox.net. |

Are you using the Juno credentials for POP authentication and the Cox credentials for SMTP authentication in the second account? -- Brian Tillman |

That is correct. The thing that is killing me, is it worked under 2003, as
soon as I upgraded to 2007 it stopped working. "Brian Tillman" wrote: Vincent wrote: I have two POP accounts I am using, however, my ISP blocks SMTP except their own. Well, it IS beta software, after all, and this may be one of the areas that will need addressing. Check the Office Beta web site. I think there is a list of things that have been reported. -- Brian Tillman |

I had authentication set up for our SMTP mail server for outgoing. I removed
it as most SMTP servers do not require authentication and the outgoing email worked fine. The outgoing athentication works under Outlook 2003 so I assume it is a bug, but maybe your SMTP server will allow outgoing w/o username and password.
