Default no server error message

I checked and re-checked all instructions, but cannot receive email from AOL
thru outlook. Getting error message "unable to connect to server". Also
getting this message when trying to install Business Contact Manager 2003 and
when trying to install certain stationary---despite the fact that I have
Office Professional 2003 in the drive and on the computer. Please send help!

Hi,

Follow these steps to set up your AOL account inside of Outlook.

1. Close Outlook.

2. Click Start, and click Control Panel. Click Mail or "Mail and Fax" icon.

3. Click Show Profiles.

4. Click Add and type a name in the Profile name box.

Note: Please choose a different name than your original profile.

5. Choose Add your e-mail account and click Next.

6: Select IMAP for the server Type

- User Name: Type your AOL screen name.
- Password: Type your AOL password.
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.aol.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.aol.com
- Select the My outgoing server requires authentication check box
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) Port: 587

7. Reopen Outlook. Choose the new profile in the profile list and click OK.
