how do I recover MS Outlook messages from a now unused hard-disk?

I had installed MS Outlook 2002 on a hard disk (the OS boot disk in my old
system) but didn't have space to setup 'files & settings transfer' before I
had to install a new hard disk (w. Windows XP) which is the new the boot
disk. Though I have left the original hard disk in my system - and I managed
to recover 'my documents' by copying the old directory into 'shared files' in
the new installation, I can't find my old email messages? Any idea how I
light recover these?
