I can't send e-mail, why?
I get error message "c:\documents and setting\atlas\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst is busy. Try closing programs using this and try again." But I have no other programs running that are using Outlook. |

Reboot and try again. -- Brian Tillman |

Brian,
I appreciate the response. Old illiterates like me reboot automatically when our system doesn't work. There must be something else in start up that is working behind the scenes. Can you help? Hi,
Try disabling any anti-virus programs in your computer and try again. If possible, run a search for a file officeav.dll and rename it to .old Restart the computer and try opening Outlook again. Thanks, Mittu "roger@atlas" wrote: Brian, I appreciate the response. Old illiterates like me reboot automatically when our system doesn't work. Hold a Shift key down when you log into Windows to prevent anything in your startup areas from running and then try Outlook again. You might also consider starting Outlook with the /safe command line switch to disable any add-ins installed there. -- Brian Tillman |
