Outlook 2003 Tasks
 

I used to use Tasks, but if they are not completed, they disappear at one
time or another, I am therefore using appointments and move them forward
untill I complete the work.
I there any way one can configure the tasks, to stay put unless the task has
been completed?

Use the recurring option.
