Move pst-file from old server to local disk
A friend of mine used to save all her documents to her server.
For a number of reasons, she now wants to save everything to her local disk (new pc) and get rid of the old server. I adjusted the file location for word, excel, etc. However outlook is not so easy to adjust. (outlook 2003, win xp) How can I move the pst-file to her local disk? Thanks in advance. |

Assuming your friend is using the pst file on ther server as the default location for mail delivery, with Outlook closed, just move it! When Outlook is re-opened it will complain that it can't find the pst file. Just navigate to where you put it. HTH -- Gordon Burgess-Parker Systems and Management Accounting www.gbpcomputing.co.uk |
