You are incorrect... there is a way for you to share your contacts. Whether
or not you have a server or you only have an administrator! Do some checking.

I have the same problem and quite simply can't afford to buy additional

PCs an option (too time consuming)
I thought Business Contact Manager would allow small offices to share
contacts but no it's a standalone system which is nearly useless in a small
office environment.
Once again MS launches a half-baked system.

We do have a "server"/ Shared Folders set up but no server. Is there a way
to share information this way instead of buying a $1000 server?

How frustrating it must be for Richard and Sharing to get a response that offers them no practical guidance. Outlook 2003, in fact, contains only two real-time sharing features, one dependent on Exchange and one on SharePoint. Any other real-time sharing requires use of an extra tool, such as those listed at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm#tools .

The latest update for Business Contact Manager *does* provide for limited sharing capability within a local area network.
