I'm sure you get sick of seeing these problems..but what's a guy to do!

I was given an iPaq when I left Navman, and I have the original disk that
came with it. What I don't have is the product key for Outlook 2002 and I
need to install it so I can start syncing. What's the solution. I've never
installed the software, and I got this a couple of years ago, so this is no
chance of getting the original packaging. Do I send the disk back to
Microsoft or what?

You call Microsoft and explain the situation. They will ask you some questions and decide whether to provide a replacement key, depending on the answers. Do it today! The last day for mainsteam support for Office XP is July 11.

Thanks - I managed to get the New Zealand number and gave them a call. After
providing a digital photo of the CD and Ipaq by email as proof (on their
request), they then told me they can't generate a key for Outlook 2002. I
explained I was happy to come down to their offices and prove I really do
have an iPaq and the install cd....then emailled back a new product key.

Thanks for your help - and it seems it was just in the nick of time! :)
