Default Outlook over VPN

I have an exchange server 2003 with a VPN router. I can get mail no problem
in the local office. When i take my laptop and connect through VPN, I can not
get any email. Ports 25, 80 and 110 are forwarded. Can anyone help? I've been
fighting this for a year now!

Default Outlook over VPN

Lets backup a second...

Port 25 = SMTP (Relaying is allowed if you authenticate with a valid domain
userid/pass)
Port 110 = POP3 (This protocol is disabled by default on Exchange 2003)
Port 80 = HTTP

With the above said, are you sure you want to connect via POP3/SMTP. These
2 protocols don't give a full Outlook experience. Is your desktop Windows
XP (with SP2) and Outlook 2003? If yes, do you wish to VPN to your network
first and then connect to Exchange or connect to Exchange 2003 over the
HTTPS protocol?

/neo
PS - Port 443 is HTTPS
PSS - Exchange 2003 must be part of a Windows 2003 Active Directory domain
and Exchange 2003 must be installed on Windows 2003 servers in order to
connect via HTTPS.
