Outlook Hangs up

I am using outlook 2003 for my Exchange server mails. When i open Outlook
initially it works fine. But after a short span of few minutes, it gradually
becomes slow and stops responding to any action. We have made sure that the
inbox limit is maintained. we also used "Scanpst.exe" and "Scanost.exe" to
repair the files, still the problem persists. we have reinstaled the
software, still the same problem. When seen in the background process,
outlook 2003 uses most of the system cycles and is reducing the system
performance also. This is a major issue in my organisation. I request you to
please provide me with a quick solution.

I would also look into the following article and check out the information
about the Planner Options and the IM options. These will slow down
many machines. My clients turn them on without understanding how it
effects them.
