How do I setup outlook and send/receive emails?

I just bought a new Dell Desktop and it comes with Office 2003.I tried to
install outlook express but when I tried to send email it don't seem to work.
I'd really want to use Office's full potential but couldn't figure the right
way to set it up. I would really appreciate if you can help me out with this.

Thank You,
Marvin

First of all, Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer and has nothing
to do with Office 2003; Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 comes with Office
2003. When you say "it don't seem to work", what exactly is or isn't
happening and do you get any error messages?

Have you asked your ISP for the proper settings?
