OUTLOOK CRASHES
I have been using the beta 2 office system for weeks and all of a sudden
today outlook crashes. You start it and 2 seconds in it says it has to close. It also says on the error report that it will be fixed in the next version of 2007. SOOO, i try to revert to my old 2003 pro installation--guess what--it wont work either. Now what. Does anyone know what to do? I have removed it installed 2003, I have removed everything installed 2007 again, same problem and I cant fix it no matter what I do. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! |
OUTLOOK CRASHES
As an update. I have found the problem, which I really think because it is so
simple, microsoft should handle this differently. Remember Outlook continued to CRASH, so obviously you think there is something wrong with the software. I went 27 hours trying to figure that out and in the end it was the simplest thing in the world. It was the .pst file. Now i dont know if it was too big, or just corrupt, but I am currently running a scanpst on it to see if that helps. Either way, I am an idiot for not figuring it out sooner. IF ANYONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM (OUTLOOK CRASHES AND YOU JUST CANT DO ANYTHING TO FIX IT) TRY MAKING A NEW .PST FILE AND RENAMING YOUR OLD ONE AND i AM WILLING TO BET A LOT THAT IS THE PROBLEM. Thanks for putting up with my frustration everyone. MICROSOFT--Need to find a way to deal with this better. Of course it will help me with my customer charges, but it is a real pain if you dont know.
