Attachments and distribution groups
Hi
If I try to send attachments via a distribution group the attachment is lost. I don't know why this is although I can see there may be security issues. Is this OUTLOOK that is doing the stripping or is it SYMANTEC? How can I disable it? Mant thanks |

I've never seen either product with this capability. What message format
and/or are you using Word as your e-mail editor? "MTC" wrote in message ... Hi If I try to send attachments via a distribution group the attachment is lost. Try turning off Word as your editor since you don't mention what attachment
type you are sending. "MTC" wrote in message ... Yes I use WORD as email editor and I send in plain text. Thanks "neo [mvp outlook]" wrote: I've never seen either product with this capability. Thanks I will try it. I am sending a WORD document. Are you able to explain
what is going on? "neo [mvp outlook]" wrote: Try turning off Word as your editor since you don't mention what attachment type you are sending. "MTC" wrote in message ... Honestly, no because I would have to see the internet header/raw source of
what the recipient is getting plus know what mail client they are using. At this point, I'm having you reconfigure Outlook to the most compliant configuration when dealing with cross-platform/cross-application communications. "MTC" wrote in message ...
