Outlook rules not available
After installing OfficeXP including Outlook on my notebook, I copied the PST
file from my old machine and was happy to see the contacts, etc. still there. However, the option to work with "Rules Wizard" wasn't there. I'm not saying it was not available or "grayed out" - it was not there. Last night I reopened Outlook and while I have a menu item saying "Rules Wizard" is there but when I click on it, nothing happens. The only thing I can figure is I need to uninstall and reinstall. BTW, my "About Outlook" sez (10.2627.2625). I updated Office last week. |

See if there is anything listed in Help || About || Disabled Items and if
yes try enabling. "Jim" wrote in message ... After installing OfficeXP including Outlook on my notebook, I copied the PST file from my old machine and was happy to see the contacts, etc. still there. It seems to be working now. I ran the Office Update until it said I was
current and I was able to import the rules from the old machine. Thanks for the help. "Jim" wrote: Nothing under disabled items.
