Accessing an .OST file

I copied a .OST file to CD, and am trying to import my address book to a
different computer not on the same network.

I am receiving an "Access Denied" error.

Does anyone know of a way around this?

Well, the first thing you must realize is that you can't access data files
from a CD. They must be copied to the hard drive and the read-only
attribute must be removed.

The second thing you must realize is that OSTs aren't PSTs and you won't be
able to open an OST where there is no associated Exchange account. There
are commercial tools available that will convert an OST to a PST, though.
