Default Having trouble getting my newly added email account to work

This is the error message that comes up when I try to send/receive email now
that I have added a new hotmail email account.
Task 'website email: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCC32) : 'Access to the account was denied. Verify that your username
and password are correct. The server responded 'Invalid login.'. '

My login and password are definitely correct (and I have considered the case
sensitive matter, too).

Do you have a paid Hotmail subscription?

I got the hotmail through my Microsoft Office Live account. It specifically
says it is designed to work with outlook.

Ah, so you do have a paid account then. Do you have the MSN Outlook
Connector installed already?
