RPC over HTTP

My outlook client finds teh exchange server when it is on the network but
when outside of the network it can't find the host. It seem sthat no matter
how i configure teh client it always finds the host by this name
name.domain.local this works fine internaly but dosen't externaly.

Question how do i get the outlook client to see the exchange servers DNS
name of name.domain.net

I had a similar problem that was fixed with SP2 for both office and winXP. I
have also seen SP2 not install correctly. I would start with that first.
Sorry if this dont help you.
