I'm reposting this question here, as I originally posted in the Contacts forum:
We had a user change some unknown settings to include her name in the FROM on outgoing messages in Outlook 2000. We've deleted and reinstalled the Internet Mail account, but the mysterious FROM with the old username continues to show. We've restarted the system without the Internet Mail account being set up, and this old FROM continues to be persistent. When we click on the FROM line within the email, it shows in the EMAIL SETTINGS popup with the old name. I change it to the new name, but the setting doesn't hold as it's in the individual email and not in the computer settings. Ideas? |
