This is when i address an email and if you type the first letter of their
name a small list of your contacts appear and you choose which one you want.
I want to delete most of them, but do not know how.

Crack open your email client, navigate to the address book (ctrl + shift +
b) and highlight whom you'd like to delete, press the delete button, confirm
that you want to delete them, go on and remove the next one.
