I have office 2000 and office 2007 professional plus beta. upon installing
the latter it had to unistall outlook 2000 to install outlook 2007 beta. when I try to open outlook 2007 beta I get this error message: Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot initialize Microsoft Office shared utilities. Restart your computer or reinstall Microsoft Office Outlook. I have done that more than once and still get the same message. When I try to open any other office program in 2007 beta, I get this error message: There is not enough memory of disk space to run...... this did not happen upon intial installation, everything worked fine at first, then this just started happening, I have reinstalled, ran the fixes, to both offices, the beta just keeps giving me the same messages and 2000 outlook will not work of course. I have 1.5GM memory 300GB hard drive, and two 150GB external hard drives so that is not the problem, there is over 200GB free space on the drive where both offices are installed. Can any one offer any suggestions |

I had a similar problem with Outlook 2003 and 2007. I decided to do two
things: First, I uninstalled Outlook 2003 (WARNING: If you decide to do that, be sure you have an installation CD if you ever decide you want to reinstall your older version). Second, I didn't uninstall, MS Office Professional Plus 2007, however, my version of windows gave me the option to repair the software. So I repaired it. I haven't had problems since. So, try that and see if that works for you. If you don't have the option to repair the beta version of Outlook, then be sure you saved your email information with the original product key to reinstall the beta version. One more thing: If your operating system is Windows XP, you may have the option to repair the beta version. Mine does. Hope this helps. -- Let''''''''s work together to help each other out when we have problems with the software.
