THANKS in Advance!!
We installed a copy of Office on a new hard-drive and still have the old drive in the computer. I'd like to move the "settings" (.ops) file from the old drive to the new one, thus re-creating the Office setup without all the (ugh) work. Is there a way to do this? |

Thank you!
I'm using Office 2002 for Students and Teachers. I have moved the .ops file from the old (e) drive to my new (c) drive desktop (it shows as a shortcut to 'new settings'.) The procedure described in the MS Office article does not seem to address this scenario. Can I simply drag-and-drop from the desktop into Office? The .ops file contains data for the Profile Wizard / Save My Settings Wizard to process. The location of the file doesn't matter if you invoke it with the appropriate command line switch, which, I think is the same in both versions, but you can look it up in the older ORK articles.
