Installed Office PE 2003 on XP but Outlook is not working

I get the error "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the
Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened."

I have added all the upgrades, hoping that would help, but nothing I do is
working.

Has anyone had this problem who knows how I can fix it.

Lots of luck, this seems to be a problem with a lot of people, myself
included. Watchout for lots more problems to come and not help. I wish I
could help, I've uninstalled the total office 2003 trying to fix the
problems caused when I installed outlook 2003, but if you read up the
newsgroup, you'll see we're not the only ones with problems after installing
outlook2003 and none of them got a single answer or suggestion.

There should be a warning when installing outlook 2003. I've even tried
doing a restore to points days before the install but still have the
problems with windows that outlook caused.

Start with a clean mail profile, pointing it at your existing PST. If you
don't have a PST, then that's your problem. Create one.
