Default re-install outlook 2003 "change" in control panel ineffective

I can't get outlook 2003 to run after trying office 2007 beta version. Office
2007 does not seem to have completely un-installed. Trying to re-install
outlook 2003 via control panel / add remove programs / office 2003 / change
does not work. Any ideas? Thanks. Regards John

lots of luck.
I had to hack my registry and remove all entries for office, all versions
AND remove all hints of office on my harddrive, the files it creates as well
as the install folders. It's really detailed because it leaves bits of
itself everywhere and if you don't get it all, you're out of luck.

A better option, if you didn't install office 2007 too long ago, is to do a
system restore to a point a day or two BEFORE the install of office 2007.

Hope you can get your stuff back.
