I use the setup guide from Gmail, and when I test my settings everything is
OK. I can send and recieve mail OK. But when I exit Outlook and open it
again, something strange happens. I messagebox says Outlook can not find the
gmail server. When I look at the account settings, the pop server setting is
changed to "localhost" and username is changed to
"MyUsername/pop.googlemail.com".

This happend after I reinstalled Outlook. It worked just fine earlier. I
have tried to repair Outlook, but no success...

Can anybody help me?

When this happens, it generally means you have a security product installed
(e.g. antivirus) that can scan pop3/smtp e-mail in real time. You would
have to uninstall/reinstall that program w/out the ability to scan e-mail.
