SMTP dosn't work

When I configure an email account in my outlook, it dosn't find the smtp
server neither does it send a test email,
the same settings r working on other machines
I have reinstalled office,
installed a service pack,
rebooted;)...

but nothing works..

any help would be greatly appreciated,

OKie, I figured it out... the port was blocked from my router
