set send recieve to automatic when outlook is opened

How can I set my outlook in Office 2003 to do a send/recieve automatically
when I open the program? Currently it does not recieve email until I click on
the send/recieve button.

Set an automatic polling interval in Tools Send/Receive Send/Receive
Settings.
